Airfire AP206 air purifier user manual
✓ Confirmed fit — Airfire AP206 air purifier
- Filter type: True HEPA H13
- Design: one-piece filter + base (a single integrated unit — not a loose cylinder)
- Replace: about every 2,000 hours of use
Not sure this is your model? The AP206 uses a one-piece filter that twist-locks into the base. If your unit unlocks with a twist handle underneath and the filter and base come out as one piece, this is the right replacement.
When to replace your filter
- Replace after about 2,000 hours of use.
- When about 10% of filter life remains, all indicators on the panel flash.
- Replace sooner if you notice weaker airflow, less odor removal, or you run it in heavy smoke or pollution.
- After fitting a new filter, press and hold the filter-replace button for 5 seconds — a buzzer confirms the reset.
How to replace the filter
Safety first: unplug the power adapter before you start.
- Rotate the twist handle on the base counterclockwise to unlock.
- Lift out the old filter.
- Remove the plastic wrap from the new filter. Running the purifier with the wrap still on blocks airflow and can cause it to overheat.
- Place the new filter in and refit the base cover.
- Turn the filter buckle clockwise until it clicks into place. Plug back in, then reset the indicator.
Keep your filter working between changes
- Vacuum the pre-filter about once a month.
- Brush or vacuum the white side of the filter monthly to clear hair and dust.
- Never wash the filter with water — it damages the HEPA material.
